FLOWERS

i guess most of you heard about the movie about the tsubaki ladies
so i am here to post the official news.

Toho has revealed a new film by director Norihiro Koizumi ("Taiyou no Uta," "Gachi Boy"). Titled "FLOWERS," the movie stars six women seen in Shiseido’s popular TSUBAKI commercials: Yu Aoi (24), Yuko Takeuchi (29), Lena Tanaka (29), Yukie Nakama (30), Kyoka Suzuki (41), and Ryoko Hirosue (29).



"FLOWERS," which has been in the works since late 2008, was planned by creative director Takuya Onuki, whose works include the TSUBAKI commercials. The movie portrays six related stories, spanning three generations.



It begins in the 1930s with a woman named Rin Miyazawa (played by Yu Aoi), who is troubled by the marriage that her parents have arranged for her. Seeking freedom, she leaves the house on her wedding day, and later in life gives birth to three daughters. The oldest, Kaoru (Takeuchi), loses her husband in a car accident. The second, Midori (Tanaka), is a working woman who tries to decide between her job and a marriage proposal. The youngest, Sato (Nakama), is born with weak health and passes away after delivering her second child. Sato’s daughters are played in the present day by Suzuki and Hirosue.



Filming started last April and continued for half a year. Theatrical release has been set for June 12, 2010. The male cast members are reportedly on a level comparable with the six beauties, though their identities will be revealed at a later date.

funny how one person can embrace so many obsession and still stay sane. I have recently started obsessing about another new couple stars, chen kun and vicki zhao. we can say that i started loving her since 1997 when i watched hzgg, princess returning pearl (?)but my love for her as rekindled again after watching painted skin and hua mulan. amazing chemistry, no doubt from 2 people who have known each other for 13 years and are 2 of the 3 musketeers during their university school days. :) i strongly encourage you guys to watch hua mulan, totally different from the disney version. more depth, more haunting music to ring in your brains.

Been busy with registration of courses and modules for university. seriously horrendous... and i have a mild case of rashes on my left thigh, it has always been my left thigh -wonder why?- Let's hope it stays MILD. -itches-

anyway i just caught mulan on dvd, finally bought it. Though it is not as colourful as the disney cartoon version. It is highly meaningful and the battle scenes were detailed and very well directed!

Chen Kun and Vicki Zhao were both amazing in their roles. Of course they graduated from Bejing Film Academy, she came in first in country for the entrance exams and he was first among the guys. hahaha let's hope there are more wonderdul work out there for the both of them to collarborate again.

blue earth

seems like i cant find the cameo anymore. :/ oh well, i am sure the official thing should be coming out really soon!

anyway, i doubt that there is going to be a press conference for kouhaku! DANG! and i was still so looking forward to it! but there is a flash commercial with the 2 host! haha i really do love the nakanaka combi! :D i guess it is subjective! i will upload the photos tomorrow, seeing that i am using my friend's laptop now, i am restricting myself to not doing too many things on his com. lol

good news, there may be a new banner coming soon! it shall be a christmas present for you guys! i will start working on it once i get home where the power of photoshop lies :D　ＳＯ KEEP A　ＬＯＯＫ　OUT　ＦＯＲ　IT

finally my exam days (academic) are over, what's left is the fretting.:/
Moving on to my keyboard exam, ha let's hope i do not get butter fingers on that day then. :D
