1. She will be guest starring in kimura takuya's drama Mr Brain as a woman with multiple personality disorder. Cant wait for it to air! Remember people, it is June 20th 8 pm, for singaporeans it will be 7 our time!
This reminds me of ranpo R where she guest starred too as a lady who is in fact a murderer when it comes to the stroke of midnight. That episode was good, i love to see the play of the different emotions of her face. Hated the cliche ending of the episode though...

Oricon: Celebrity with the best black hair

Oricon magazine has started this yearly survey since 2007, once again, Nakama Yukie was crowned the title of the black hair beauty for the 3rd year running.
According to the news, Nakama Yukie's potryal of Yankumi does have an efffect. Gokusen always shows Yankumi in her pony tails but when she is involved in a fighting scene, she would take off her rubber band and thus allowing the audience to have a full glimspe of her beautiful and silky black hair.
Oricon website that holds multiple surveys started this black hair beauty survey 3 years ago allows voters netizens to pick an artiste from a large group of female celebrities and famous artistes. In the end, it was Nakama Yukie who won it for the third year running. Audience believe that she has shiny and soft looking black hair that enhances her beauty even more. Some audience feels that even though her hair is long, it still looks very light and refreshing. While the others feel that her black hair adds on to the traditional japanese feminine look. Her black hair has became Nakama Yukie's most outstanding trade mark.

A certain marriage website in did a survey of 'which celebrity do you want to wake you up from bed?'
Among the male celebrities,the multi-talented Fukuyama Masaharu won easily. He was given the title of 'a good man' and 'a good husband'
While on the female side, Nakama Yukie with her perfect elegant features was the most popular. Many supported, saying that she looks very gentle and feminine.
The female population that voted for Fukuyama Masaharu said that they wish that Fukuyama Masaaru would use his sexy and deep voice to wake them up and that would make them extremly blissed.
WHere as for Nakama Yukie, the males said that it is their dream that Nakama Yukie would use her voice and whisper gently into their ears to wake up. -.-
This survey was done from 12-14 May with 456 people doing the survey.

Nakama Yukie and Kimura Takuya pays the highest income tax.
Japan Finance Corporation has stopped naming the standing for celebrities who pay the highest income tax due to confidentiality. However according to the media and reports, Kimura with 11 commercials, bringing in 11 billion yen and Nakama Yukie with 10 commercials, bringing in 6.07 billion yen would be the highest income tax payer for the male and female respectively.
WOW, she and kimura takuya can support the economy. They seriously earn a lot. gosh we are talking about billions!!!

Nakama: I am the type of person that respond to people quickly and jump into conclusions myself, Namase san has reminded me in many occasions already.

Nakama: Hmm, like last year during the stage play where Namase san also had a part. He suggested that we do Billy's Boot camp together before the actual play. He said that he would definitely take part in the exercise but it would be more fun with more people doing it together. So i said ' I understand' and ran to buy the Billy boots camp dvd.
But in the end, when everyone was about to start doing the exercise, Namase-san didnt turn up. I was thinking "Eh? WHat happened? Didnt we agree to do it eariler on?" only then did i realise that i could have been tricked. How come?
Ueda: Ah you only realised it then?! Ah today all of us really get to see the other side of Nakama Yukie.

Just when i was thinking that the 'filming should have been not bad' I saw her laughing loudly by herself. She likes it to that extent.
Ueda: Ah thats true, but wouldn't Naohito-san feel lonely? You should at least respond to him!

And i said 'ok! let's learn it together!' and immediately head off to buy. But within those 2 years, Namase-san didnt mention it to me again. I was thinking 'Are? Maybe he is too busy?'
Ueda: I don't think so, no one would be too busy to forget about this sorts of thing! So during these 2 years, you didnt practise at all?

Nakama: No i don't know...
Ueda: Ah you are tricked again! But Namase-san really introduced a lot of things to you! Is he a member of Japannet Takta

3rd Wave & Tsubaki
Sorry for the late update. -.-"
I thought this part of the interview was pretty interesting, we get to learn more of Nakama's fears. So here you go!
Nakama: I hate loud sounds. For eg, the sound of gun shots and fireworks. I really feel scared and I can't help it. So while i was filming Joshi Deka and was required to fire a gun, my hand was really trembling while i was filming.
Nakama: I also stuffed 4 ear plugs into my ears, i was really SCARED.
Ueda: 4?? Wouldn't it be had to take them out later??
Nakama: Oh, i stuff 2 per ear, so there is a total of 4...
Ueda; Ah but even so, we wouldnt find the need to stuff 4 pieces in one by one right? Hmmm, let's see if there is any thing interesting...
" In the midst of filming, her skirt slipped down."
What exactly happened?
Nakama: Ehhh, this one.... Someone mentioned this incident?
Ueda: Seems like the information is from your manager, what exactly happedned?
Nakama: Anooo.... I was filming half way and the scene was in the public. Along the shops at Sugama Shouten. I was required to wear a long skirt for my female character. The filming continued until it reached a scene where my character starts to become more agitated.
The director shouted "Test!" and we starting rehearsing the scene. Somehow or another, the zip of my skirt became unzipped and my skirt just slipped down.
At that point of time, i still didn't really know what happened and after a second or two, the female helpers ran up to me and gathered up my skirt.
But there was a second or two where my skirt was on the floor.
Ueda: WAS THAT SCENE FILMED???
Nakama: Ahh no no no, cause it was only a test film
Ueda: But you were in the public right? Were there a lot of passer-bys?
Nakama: Yes, there was a few passer-bys
Ueda: Ahh, that is really embarrssing.
Nakama: Hai, but there was something more embarrassing. Due to the fact that it was during winter, you would wear some clothes or johns to keep yourself warm right?
Ueda: Ah yes.
Nakama: When my skirt fell, i was actually wearing something like tights inside. If it is black, it would still be pretty cool, but it was BIEGE.
Naohito: Ahh, isn't it very Sugama stle? Every one on the street was probably used to it.

For two years consecutively, Nakama Yukie has been crowned the celebrity with the best black hair. in 2007, she topped all catergories and age group, emerging as the obvious favourite. While in 2008, oricon splitted the award to female and male. Nakama Yukie was the favourite, no doubt,and Hiroshi Tamaki was the male celeb with the best dark hair.
We can safely say that her hair has become her trademark and also a bench mark for beautiful dark hair for asians.

"Her hair has the ability to mersmerize people and at the same time is one of Nakama Yukie's trademark" (20 plus, resercher, univerisity student, male)

"When i watch her in dramas and CMs, i think she really looks beautiful and she is a wonderful rolemodel for us females" (20 plus,corporate worker,female)
She has been a shiseido spokes person for many years now even before tsubaki.
Tsubaki Shiseido shampoo debut only in 2006 i think. And it was no doubt that she would be one of the few selected. Tsubaki shampoo commercials are very high budget and thus only actress and models who are outstanding would be chosen. :) tanaka rena, takeuchi yuko and ryoko were the other actress selected for the commercial ^^
Probably that's why she has to take out her rubber bands and specs whenever she fights the thugs in gokusen -to show off her sliky hair- ^^
I have been following the tsubaki commercials rather closely and i would just like to say that i love those commercials. They are soo KIREI and the song dear woman matches with it so well. I am always glad to see that Nakama Yukie's shot is also either infront or at the appropriate part of the music :) Her hair really shines doesn't it? And from what i heard, most of her commercials for hair products do not really require any CGs, they are mostly natural. And she never rebonds her hair and doesn;t dye her hair unless really required.
So people, i guess we can say that her hair is DEFINITELY of good quility and texture.
Does this have anything to do with the fact that she is Ryukuyuan? I wonder :o
Cause, putting her together with the other actresses, she stands out the most due to her rather traditional and oriental (yet at the same time able to look good in modern dramas too) look. She is one of the few actress who can really pull of a periodic look.

So people, i guess we can say that her hair is DEFINITELY of good quility and texture.
Does this have anything to do with the fact that she is Ryukuyuan? I wonder :o
Cause, putting her together with the other actresses, she stands out the most due to her rather traditional and oriental (yet at the same time able to look good in modern dramas too) look. She is one of the few actress who can really pull of a periodic look.
For those who don't know
Ryukyuans, or Lewchewans[1] (琉球民族; Okinawan: ?; Japanese: Ryūkyū minzoku) are the indigenous peoples of the Ryukyu Islands of Japan between the islands of Kyūshū and Taiwan.
I would like to say that i really prefer the old cast of the tsubaki girls, get Tanaka Rena back into the picture. The both of them would definitely make a dazzling pair!

Interview with Shimatani Hitomi Topic: Nakama Yukie
After all the celebrations you would think i am dead beat. But when it comes to nakanaka or nakama stuff, i can't help but enjoy myself and become all genki again!

host: So who are the other friends you have in the entertainment circle?
S: Nakama Yukie-chan
host: What kind of person is Nakama-san?
S: When we are together and a fan requests to take a picture of us, she would say "Ah, Gomenasai, just take a picture of me will do" I will feel very protected. And she will also say things like, "If anything happens, i will definitely try to rush there" Very chivalrous.
When you go travelling, it would be easier to see the person's true character right?
Firstly, this actress doesn't bring a wheel lugguage when we went overseas.
Host: Ah, you can't do that right?! Since you are going overseas!
S: I said "What are you thinking?" After that, beacause, she is a very reliable person and she said "i already booked the air tickets and the hotel rooms."
Host: ah yes, very reliable!
S: So i said "Thank you! I have never travelled overseas before and have no experience!" However, in the end, the supposedly 3 nights stay rate was in actually fact only able to pay for 1 night! (Sounds familiar?! XD ) and why is it a DOUBLE BED!!
I asked her "Why are we both using a double bed?!"
and she said "Sorry, i made a mistake! But there is still a cot bed."
and i shot back "Oh, so who is going to sleep on the cot bed?!" haha it ended up sounding like i wanted to start an argument.
In the end, the both of us didn't give way to each other and slept on the double bed together.
host: Ah so it ended up like that?
S: one more thing, this actress, she doesn't sleep!
Audience and host: Heeeee?
S: It would be better if you sleep early so that you would wake up early and have more time to dress up right? I was soo tired that i could only open one eye and close one eye. liek plus and minus. +.-
host: PlUS to MINUS? (haha they started imitating her plus and minus face) Under that circumtances, wouldnt both your eyes can't open instead?? like minuses! -.-
S: Later in the morning, when i woke up, i saw her standing infront of me while holding on to a video camera and said "WHAT TIME ARE YOU GOING TO SLEEP UNTIL?!" Seems liek she only slept for 3 hours.
Host: he?????
S: Her pro-activeness is really shocking too! Some times when she called and i never pick up, she will leave a message that said "I know you are there!"
Host: From what we heard just now, it feels like scenes out of a drama!
S: haha but it is real! Some times she would also suddenly call and say "Lets go and eat yakiniku today!" (From what i gathered, she loves to eat beef and yakiniku)
i ask "What time?"
"7, and i already booked a place"
"Eh?!! Okay i know, i will try to rush down immediately!"
When it is around 6.30, she will call again and ask "DOKO?" (where are you now?)
and i would say "Ah about that, i was thinking of going home first before i meet you"
"Hm, there is no time already, come down quickly"
-every one laughs-
S: If i said something like "But i already booked an appointment with the beautician~.."
"Hm, just push it away, you can always go to the beauty palour anytime right?"
Host: HAHA Yakiniku is then the thing that you can go anytime you want!
S:This time she is acting in a stage play, A person's summer, she messaged me to say "Please encourage me!"
Host: Isn't she sadistic!!!!
S: But if you view it from another perspective, don't you think it is rather adorable and cute~~?
Ahhahaha, this interview always cracks me up! What an adorable pair of friends! Please encourgae me?!!! HAHA She is too darn adorable, i bet this image is one nakai hasn't seen before ^^

i would just like to post this little segment here first, so enjoy!
Nakama Yukie and Shimatani Hitomi-san became good friends afer they acted in a stage play together in 2004. Heee, they should be pretty close since they actually go overseas together. X)
Shimatani-san also commented on Nakama Yukie being one of her close frieds in an interview on 2008.
I will place the translation of the interview shortly.
It was a really fun interivew where we can see the REAL side of her, it would deifinitely make you adore her more. Shimatani-san narrates the fun facts that happened in Los Angeles and nakama yukie's manner of phoning her. :)

Yukie thought that i was getting married for real and sent me a message in the early mmorning.
She even called me personally but i was not in. (Hence it ended up being a phone message)
In the end, she realised that it was not true and she got angry...
Up until now i have yet to call her to apologize..

Next segment, the message will be from Shimatani Hitomi, her good friend in the entertainment circle. It is good to see the both of them so close to each other, I hear that Nakama-san went for one of Shimatani-san’s concert and when it was time for her to leave (I think she was on a tight schedule) she didn’t want to leave and even asked her manager whether she could stay for a while more longer….
Presenting........
Ueda: The next piece of message is from a friend, Shimatani Hitomi-san
Nakama: Ah, yes!
Ueda: Are you guys close?
Nakama: Yes, we are rather close (:
Ueda: Oh so I see.
The question was: Were there episodes (incidents) that were shocking regarding Nakama-san?
Message from Shimatani-san:
A few years back, while we were travelling abroad, every thing was settled by Nakama-san. However, the supposedly 3 nights stay hotel rates was in actually fact a 1 night stay rate gave me a shock! ( I guess it means they thought what they were paying for was for 3 days but in actually fate that price was only for a one night stay X) )
Plus, we were staying in such an expensive room, but there was only one double bed and a cot bed. WHY?
In the end the both of us had to sleep on the double bed, isn’t this weird Nakama-san??
What a blur and full of mistakes trip that was!
Nakama: That’s so mean, Hitomi-chan!
Ueda: Was it really as what Shimatani-san said?
Nakama: Sou desu ne, there was really such an incident.
Ueda: She said it is full of mistakes? What other mistakes or troubles were there?
Nakama: The other troubles were… Ah because it was only the 2 of us, females travelling, it is a rather rare chance, so we wanted to be more lavish and ordered a suite.
Ueda: So that’s why a 3 nights’ rate would become a 1 night rate?
Nakama: That suite came together with a kitchen, so the both of us went to the supermarket to buy some bread that needed to be placed in the oven. So we were thinking that it would be good to buy that back to eat it while drinking wine and watching some videos and stuff like that…
And then we bought it back in the hotel in the morning.
The oven that was in the kitchen had those vertical grills that you have to pull out, so it really looked like we are burning the bread instead when we placed it on the grills. So we felted that this oven cannot be used and saw that next to it was a microwave.
So we thought that can we really not use the microwave? Hm, maybe we should give it a try?! So we just placed the bread in the microwave and set it for a few minutes and press the start button and the both of us headed to drink wine and watched some DVD.
In the end, there was suddenly a lot of black smoke coming from the kitchen. And then we were thinking ‘What’s going on?’ Once we opened the door we saw that the whole kitchen was filled with black smoke. We were really scared that it would activate the fire alarm or cause some dangerous situations and rushed to open the windows to let out the smoke… and slowly and nervously went to open the microwave and saw that the insides were totally black.
Ueda: Ah the bread that took a lot of trouble for you guys to buy….
Nakama: At least we were thinking like ‘What should we do??’ But in the end we just didn’t care about it.
Audience: HEHHHHHHH
Ueda: Ah you all should at least try to clean up that place! Like that you will be blacklisted by the hotel you know! You all really just left it there?
Nakama: Sou desu ne, it would have been better if we cleaned up that time.
Ueda: Yes, that’s the LEAST you should do. How can you just leave it like that.
